WBR Kawasaki Junior Race Team headed to Swan Hill on 12th, 13th June for round 3 of the Victorian Championship.
Levi Addison raced in the Jnr 250f class on the KX 250f although Levi didn’t finish as high as he may have hoped he did well considering he was fighting a cold all weekend. Levi finished the weekend in 11th place.
Max Fricke lined up in the highly competitive 12 – 15 yrs 85cc A-grade class. Max struggled with his starts all weekend he kept spinning off the concrete gate. Max rode well but struggled to make passes and a crash in the final motto stopped him from finishing higher in the order for the weekend. Max finished 17th for the weekend.
Kody Meulenmeesters once again lined his KX65 up in the A-grade 65 class against a stacked KTM field. Kody rode well all weekend but struggled with starts in his first two motto’s. For the last motto Kody made some changes to his starting technique to see him rocket out the gate second around turn one. Kody placed consistent results finishing 9th for the weekend but in the overall standings has moved into 5th place.
Overall it was a great weekend the track was awesome and the Swan Hill club did an awesome job. The team know look forward to the Hattah which will be the next event on the busy calendar.
